This is the second or third set of bottom bracket bearings I have used in my Ridley X-trail cyclo-cross bike. They replace the spares in my bench because I needed to change bearings just before a club ride at the end of last season. That ride followed a gravel ride where I encountered water with about 0.5km to go at the end of a rail trail section. Rather than add 20km to my day I headed into the water and immediately had to get off and walk: it was too deep and the bottom was mud. I pushed the bike across what turned out to be more like 0.7km. The BB was under water quite a bit during that and just before the next ride I found that one of the bearings was seized. They are easy the swap with Wheels Mfg. puller which I did and it is running fine. So, these bearings feel good and the price is right but they do not like water. I openned my Shimano Deore XT rear hub after that and there was still lub in it, just a bit black. The hubs got a bit less water but still it indicates that Shimano is more robust.

Put a set of these bearings in my Wheels Manufacturing Bottom Bracket. ABEC 5 ceramic hybrid are the highest rated bearings I can find in this size. I will get another pair so I can always have a clean set ready.

MR2437s are meany to fit in a bicycle bottom bracket. I was skeptical at this price, half the comps and 10% or the big names. They were smooth, they fit nicely in the BB90, and I'll put in an update if I break them, but they work!

These lasted for two rides, then.... Crunch. I anticipated this would happen so fortunately I had a set of Enduro plain old steel bearings. Those usually last for 3-6 months in my Wheels Manufacturing BB30 Shimano 24 mm adapter.
