This is very nice paper and quality. I like the color and the weight. I’ve only used it so far to swatch gouache paint. I will use it with dry and wet media, and post images later on. I wish the price was a bit cheaper. But the sketchbook is big so I can split pages in smaller sketching sessions. Instead of focusing on filling a large page. I wish they had this same one in something smaller like a 6x6, 5x5 inches or 3x5inches. But all in all is very good.

These journals are my favorite sketchbooks to use for dry mediums and i also love their watercolor sketchbooks too.

Over all I like the product. I wish the company was a bit better with protecting it when shipping. The cover has a very soft pleather like material which took impressions from the packaging, bubble wrap lining the inside of the bag and other packages in shipping.Over all the paper seams nice, good for gouache. Some light foam or something with little texture to wrap the book in would be beneficial during shipping.

The actual item is great. The pages are great quality. The only thing that I am confused about is how the cover got damaged. Like many of the comments, my cover got weirdly damaged. It looks like someone put my book on top of hot bubble wrap. Just super strange.I don’t know why this is still an issue if multiple people have had this issue. Also since these aren’t exactly cheap, I would like to have my drawing notebook not look like melted bubble wrap.So overall, great notebook overall but something weird is going on with the covers.

I purchased this to use as a mixed media journal. Let me start by saying I had a hard time getting past the cover, it is so soft and velvety that you just want to keep touching it! But once I opened the cover and started experimenting I was blown away. Nothing is too much for this paper, I have thrown ink on it, used pastel pencils, colored pencils, watercolor, and plain graphite…oh and wax too! It has accepted every challenge like a dream. If you need to erase something a hundred times, it handles that too without damage to the paper. I will be getting many more of these most definitely
