Good size threaded curved u bolts. About 5/16 inch diameter. Should hold roof carrier well.

When I purchased a used, like new, Cargo Carrier from a seller on Facebook Marketplace, the brackets that came with the Cargo box, while appearing to be OEM, were very difficult to install and provided no protection to the cargo rack or the car’s roof from scratches. The OEM brackets were so difficult to use that I purchased this bracket kit on Amazon and awaited the delivery before installing the box onto the car. These new brackets are so much easier to install and offer much better protection to the car that it only took a few minutes to have the cargo box up and installed. I did need to drill new holes in the Cargo box to line up with the size of the new brackets, but the included stickers were of good quality and large enough to cover up the old holes. The soft plastic on the brackets help protect the cargo rack nicely and will hopefully prevent scratches to the roof of the car. I am very happy with this purchase.

Great fit on my Thule Aero bars. Nice and snug and secure inside the box. These really are a great value for the money!
