This style is the best alternative I've found for us vertically challenged drivers. I was recently involved in a crash where airbags were deployed, and I truly believe that, had I not had been using this style of seat belt adjuster, I would have had a severe injury from where the seat belt normally cuts directly across my windpipe. The only thing this did was leave a bruise on my abdomen, which healed quickly. These particular ones are a nice, thick metal that doesn't seem like it will bend. They attach easily and securely, and are fairly easy to adjust. Save your money on the fancy, padded kind that keeps popping open and won't stay in place. And PLEASE pay the few bucks for these instead of pushing the seat belt under your arm.

Not sure when but somewhere along the way my seatbelt started choking me and sawing on my neck. I used to have some of these but they got left in my last car when I sold it. I was given the other ones so I wasn't sure where to get some more. Ordering things online is always a crapshoot but I won this time. These are perfect. They took just a minute to put on and I'm back to being comfortable in my seatbelt again. Very sturdy metal so they won't bend. Perfect!!
