Terminals are copper, and connection from solenoid to starter has some insulation on it.Better than I expected since the pics on Amazon don’t show copper and do show the insulation. It works for me and I believe this was made in flint Michigan not in China. Top bolt was hard to reach but it’s manageable.

OEM quality..it's only been 2 months, but going strong nonetheless.I'll update the review if anything changes.so, if anything, no news is good news.

Not the easiest starter to install but works well. The bolts supplied were NOT for the 97 4.6l f150 but I purchased a return so I don't know if those were from factory or swapped by a previous customer. It does come with heat shrink tubing for the electrical connector (it's recommended you splice the solenoid wire for whatever reason). Have not tested longevity but I recommend you take all starters to an auto parts store to get bench tested for free prior to install.
