Chose these pins for that classic look to hold down my fiberglass cowl hood for my ‘02 ford mustang GT. The other reason was the length. Compared to ford racing hood pins which are short, these ones will fasten to the rad cradle, and reach pass threw the hood so you can use the pins for the 99 to 04 mustangs. Picture shows exactly what you get. I had extra screws for the scuff plates from another kit, and extra lanyards aswell for the pins, so was no big deal to me. Even at this price, you can purchase those pieces separately, and still save yourself money compared to other kits. Parts are quality, but the scuff plate is a little thin, but this also allowed the plates to form with the curves of the hood . Would recommend.

Pins and bolts are heavy, you're on your own for fastening the plates to the hood, so be prepared to figure out how to rivet. Hood doesn't come off the car on the highway, so I guess they work pretty good. Now please stop harassing me to review hood pins. Thank you.

Long enough to go all the way through my radiator support, and poke out about an inch after tightening down. Looks perfect on my 98 Mustang.Buy the lanyards that are a suggested item from Amazon with these. They work perfectly with the design, and will stop you from losing the pins when you're working on your car.

Fit the bill perfectly. Clips are sturdy. Easy to install. Does not come with sheet metal screws. You will need a 1/2" bit and a bit appropriate for the screws you select. Only time will tell if the chrome plating will rust or not.
