Es un excelente equipo para estudio de grabación o para practicar, se puede llevar fácilmente de lado a lado, ya que no es pesado.

I was looking at the Rumble 100 from Fender. Light weight, great sound, powerful + effects loop! But then I saw the Ampeg SVT Micro stack. Classic Ampeg sound in a small solid state format with limiter, XLR preamp out, effects loop and several outputs I had to get one! Saw this "used" on amazon for a "had to buy" price. It looked like it was still taped up in original box. I think someone tried it and didn't care for it. I am thinking because of the fan noise? I must admit it is pretty loud. I do a lot of recording and this would need to be in another room to avoid fan noise for sure. Playing live wouldn't be an issue but low-level practicing could prove problematic unless you are using headphones. The fan noise and the hard plastic feet would be my negative complaints for the amp. That aside, I love the tone. You can get a lot a variations with the EQ and Gain in addition to the volume and tone on the bass itself. It definitely has that classic Ampeg sound with nice sounding overload distortion. I will say that it does sound a little squished. I only did a quick test using the limiter and only a little without it. So that's not a negative comment but more go and observation.I would love to have (2) of the matching2 x10 cabs to hear how loud it can get as it takes both 2x10 cabinets to get the full 200 watt rating FYI. I plan to get (1) 2x10 eventually but for no I am running through a Roland Keyboard amp with a 12" speaker, (4) 1/4 inputs and (1) XLR input. This is how I found out that the XLR was the preamp out because only the gain would work and not the master volume. I first hooked it up with the XLR to the Roland amp and I thought the master volume was broken. I switched to the 1/4 output and the master worked. However, I did get a grounding buzz. I bought the Roland while ago and the previous owner had screwed a power strip on the back and cut the ground pin so I think it might be that. Haven't had a chance to re-test.Over all I really like this little amp. And I mean little. Its a bit deeper then lunchbox amps but just as light. Well built (accept for the hard plastic feet - will be upgrading to rubber) for what it is and has that cool SVT look, style and controls. The tone is killer and would make anyone happy who knew what that classic "Ampeg Sound" was or not. Good sustain too. I tried it with my Sterling (by Music Mann) SUB 4 string. My low string is tuned super low and it was really pushing some air out of the Roland amp. I have a Squire P-Bass, Gretsch short scale and an Ibanez T-100 (that has a really crazy EQ that renders a lot of different tones). They are on deck for testing when I get a chance so I may update this review later on..Like I said, the fan noise might be a deal breaker for some, if so, then I would go for the Fender Rumble 100. I would say that if I paid retail I might be a little disappointed because you couldn't record a speaker with this little amp on top with out hearing it as that is what I plan on using this amp for most. So kinda of a bummer but I can deal with the fan noise for the great tone this little thing produces.I think you can't really choose between this Ampeg SVT Micro and the Fender Rumble 100 because I think they each deliver different sonics. Enough in my opinion, to own both (which is what I plan to do!).If I we're to be brutally honest and I had to choose one or the other at full retail price, I would probably go with the Fender Rumble 100 because (no heavy fan noise), they are incredibly light, has effects loop (both do), comes with speaker as combo and sounds excellent in the tone department! If you gotta have the SVT tone (solid state style) at an affordable price then definitely check out the Ampeg SVT Micro. With the matching 2x10 cabs you'd be a force to recon with and for sure get noticed at band practice or your next big gig!
