Actual filter may be fine… all other pieces besides actual filter are the cheapest pieces of plastic I’ve seen on a $300 filter ever. Hose connections to inlet and outlet in tank are without any securing mechanism. Out of safety concerns I can’t use this on my 125 gallon tank… Real review…

The filter arrived all suction cups are missing.Sand every where inside the filter. Broken intake diffuser. Very disappointed.

This is a good little filter with a high flow rate. There are two cons though. The first is that the hose isn't a standard size which can make using other accessories a little more difficult. The second is that this has an issue getting air in it constantly which I am guessing is a seal issue. It doesn't leak. But it is almost impossible to purge all the air from the canister.Now the good is that this thing had a lot of flow and can handle big tanks with ease. It has tons of room for filter media. It is extremely quiet if you can luck into the air purging from the system.
