expensive but a little goes a long way. These are great for creating different effect on models and adding depth to the bases and play surfaces. Great color pallets and easy to use for people that struggle with colors that go together well.

For years I've been using pastel chalks and airbrush for my weathering effects on my model railroad. Decided it was time to "up my game" in the weathering department. Enter this little kit to my tool arsenal....First off these are actually Tamiya products, so you are getting a high-quality item. They are not the same as chalk powder, but I found they work very much the same. They are more "wet" than dry chalk. Best I can describe them is like my wife's makeup. Application was very easy with the included brush/applicator and made my "end of the line" rail spurs nice and rusty looking with very little effort. The color does need to be sealed afterwards should you not want any to rub off.This kit has just about every color I could ever wish for all sorts of weathering effects, and I found a little goes a long way. This 6-color set is definitely a must-have should you desire all sorts of weathering effects. Highly recommended.

Must have if you're doing a model that you don't want to look "pristine" and want it to appear to be the "real life used" item, like a tank, robot, rally car, etc. Giving it that extra touch really takes it to the next level.This kit has every color you could want to give it that weathered / worn look.Packaging and organization could be a bitter, but still a very good product.

This set is a good value. It's like a 'buy five, get one free' sale, not counting the other little knick-knacks included.I've seen these used in numerous YouTube videos and finally got a set or two, or ultimately six, for myself. The first time I used them was to alter the tint on airbrushed aluminum and steel paints. Instead of loading the airbrush to create color depth and shading, I used these kits to alter the tint on the metal colors.It was much easier and more effective than I thought it could be. Now, I have a whole palette of colors to experiment with.

I recommend this product to anyone that wants an accurate scale finish. I’m a first time user and would definitely buy this again.
