I purchased this shade after the plastic cracked on my old shade. I was hoping to find something less expensive since this is a small shade. I am glad that I purchased this shade: it's made of paper and the design appears to be dried leaves. Very pretty and shows good light.

I've been looking for a perfect shade for my homemade lamp for nearly 2 years! I made the lamp out of a 1/2 gallon old green tinted Ball Mason jar. I filled it with interesting rocks I'd pick up here & there. But it made a neat lamp. A neighbor loaned me a natural flax linen small lampshade for it but it was just a loan & she eventually took it back. In its place, she gave me an old lampshade someone had painted black. It was done poorly but I used it up until finding this one.I hesitated to buy this shade because of the price, although it is priced comparably. What sold me on the shade is how natural the elements of the leaves & other plant pieces are so perfectly melded in to the paper on the outside of the shade. I would've sworn they were organic! They certainly look it. But the shade perfectly fits my silly homemade lamp. The pictures don't do it justice. Aspen Creative has some of the most modern natural-looking lampshades I've ever seen. I'm very pleased with choice too. It came quickly & was packed to perfection. I've saved the boxes for my upcoming move. I highly recommend this lovely lampshade & feel sure I'll buy more in this line. Thank you!
