These sag a lot. It's noticable. I'll have to replace them with something better so this was a waste of money.

Super sturdy rod considering how long it is! Love it

The rod bends under weight of curtains quite noticeably. Not that I have too many of those at the one section. Overall it’s okay option, but I would expect a bit better quality

Straight to the point, I gave this rod a 4 star because, while it’s a great rod, there was some minor bowing, and also some gold paint scraped off during installation. I would recommend it, especially given the price point. For the full details, keep reading. My requirements- I wanted a curtain rod that would expand to at least 153” to cover some large sliding glass doors. Also, I wanted to be able to slide the curtains completely to the side, which means I could use no more than three brackets. And to top off my super picky list, it also had to be strong enough to hold up six panels of velvet curtains, and four panels of black out liners behind them, totaling 24lb/9.5kg. These checked all three boxes.I liked that this rod came in sections that screw together, rather than a sliding rod, because it will give me more functionality and flexibility to reuse the rod elsewhere in the future, should I choose to do so. We opted to purchase heavy duty wall anchors from the hardware store, just for safe measure, so I can’t report on the included hardware. However, once installed and curtains loaded on, the rod remained fairly straight (I could see a little bowing, my husband could not). So to make it even more sturdy, we got two 3/4” round, 72” long dowel rods and inserted them into the hollow rod. And voila! A straight, secure, rod spanning a ridiculous length with only three brackets.Another thing of note, while installing the rod paint scraped off fairly easily, mostly due from spinning on the bracket. I have yet to notice any paint damage from sliding the curtain rings. So, be mindful during installation, and have a paint pen ready, just in case.
