The battery fit and performed close to the factory batteries performance. My issue with the battery is that it's a generic battery the same battery they sell on Ebay for 80 bucks. There is no brand name on the battery like it shows in its advertisement pictures, it comes in a box with that name but there is no brand name on the battery itself. I have a new Panasonic battery and this one comes close to it's performance, I can't speak to the longevity because I've only had it a short time. I just don't like being deceived, if it's generic say it's generic don't pretend it is branded.

I purchased the battery on 7/10/2024, the computer cannot charge the battery at 11/25/2025.The battery life is toooo short.Update 11/26 11am: Last night I saw some review to update BIOS. I tried to update BIOS using Lenovo's system update sw, but it fail. It cannot update due to AC charger issues.I removed the battery and re-install, it works!Seems like pin connection issues. The laptop just sit on my table all the time and connect to two monitors, I don't know why it just disconnect suddenly. If you has the same issue you can try the same way.Since it is on sale now, I purchased another one for backup :o)

I'm very cautious about buying stuff with weird names. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a battery for my Thinkpad P1 that doesn't have a weird name. So I rolled the dice on this one. A couple suggestions. Before ordering, pull the battery out to check the part number. The back comes off the P1 easily. The screws are "captive". I pried it off with a small pocketknife blade. The battery is held by four screws. Don't lose those! The tricky part is the tiny connector. Be extremely careful with that. I pried it off with the tip of my knife blade but that's probably not a good idea. The battery came half-charged. I charged to to 100% yesterday. This morning it's still 100%. The tools that come with the battery are a joke. The screwdrivers are 2" long. Pretty much useless. In the picture, they look like they're 4".
