I have an old Eljer (not sure what model) with a weird squarish shape that I didn't realize was so hard to replace the toilet seat of until I needed to. This toilet seat was easy to install, perfect fit (round not elongated) and a pretty solid piece. Not thrilled about the price, but I guess I was today years old when I realized toilet seats in general are more expensive than I thought. 3 pictures for original shape, then with cover on and opened. 😁🚽

Since Emblem Elongated Toilet Seats are no longer manufactured in wood, I was "forced" to purchase the Bemis Eljer Emblem Plastic Elongated Toilet Seat. I was pleasantly surprised. Not only did it fit my Eljer toilet, but the Natural shade matched exactly. I really wanted a wood toilet seat, but the Bemis Eljer Emblem Plastic Elongated Toilet Seat is very stylish, so I am going to stop lamenting the demise of wood. I recommend the Bemis Eljer Emblem Plastic Elongated Toilet Seat, if you have an Eljer Emblem Elongated Toilet.

Excellent, fits the elongated Eijer toilet perfectly, and the silver (iced grey) colour match is very good.

Needed to replace the original toilet seat on our 10-year-old Eljer toilet. The Emblem was an exact fit with re-designed and upgraded hinges.Seat came with upgraded connectors to the toilet base, a perfect installation. Wipes clean.Perfect! An easy and quick install using ordinary hand tools. Under 1/2 hour to remove old seat with broken hinge and install replacement seat.

Our Eljer Emblem toilet is over 20 years old; so was the old seat, which had stains that could not be removed. I think the original color was "almond". This replacement seat is "Biscuit/Linen", which is a little lighter in color, but looks like a good match when installed. If you have any questions on color, you can check the Bemis site and even order color chips, for a price.One reviewer complained the nuts and bolts were plastic. Too bad he wasn't around when we removed the old seat, which had metal nuts and bolts. The top of each bolt had rusted so badly that it couldn't be turned, and the nut was inaccessible to turn. We needed a special saw to cut off the old seat hinges, then shear off the top of the old bolts. I'm glad the new hardware is plastic, so we won't have to deal with that problem again. If the plastic bolts eventually break, they are inexpensive to replace.The seat was expensive, but Amazon had a good price compared to home improvement websites. It was certainly preferable to replacing the toilet, which is still attractive and has always worked reliably.
