Didn't work for our 150 old Victorian doors. Quarter inch difference between frame and door. Would have required Jerry rigging a piece of wood to raise the level of the slider.

These should not be used to hold very much weight. The screws are so tiny and weak that one broke just screwing it in. These latches may be ok for something like a cabinet door, but nothing much heavier.

screws are very small, hard to handle, but sturdy enough.

These worked great to compliment a project I had just completed with a room remodel. I used them as an alignment tool on 2 doors I had constructed. As far as security goes I don't think there is much value there but as I say they worked perfectly for the project I was working on.
