The rooster was made if wood, the color paint was bright and with a glossed finish. The sad part is I put it on my purse and the part that was connected to the rooster chain broke and therefore I am left with No rooster but two chain links, the large key ring and clap. I liked the rooster itself just not how they connected it, wast of money.

Bought this for my 96-year-old aunt that collects chickens. She absolutely loved it! Works well.

It is great for the price. I just wish the legs would have hold better and not broken off during the shipment.
