I've been generally impressed with this orbital sander by Bosch. I have a Dewalt DWE6423-GB, which is a wired orbital sander, but I've been after a cordless option for a while. The Dewalt being in a similar price category, will be my benchmark.On paper, the Bosch has a higher OPM, but is not a variable speed,vs the Dewalt which has a range of OPM values to choose from with a variable speed selector. This is a particularly useful feature for more delicate sanding jobs and an omission that'll mean the Bosch is more selectively used.In terms of vibration, on paper the Bosch has a higher vibration emission value (5.5m/s^2) versus the Dewalt at I was able to sand down walls easily with the cordless capabilities, and I hooked it up directly to a vacuum and the dust extraction was pretty good - I did briefly test the in built dust collector and it wasn't the best, this is as expected though.If you're in the Bosch ecosystem then this is a great option - if not, look for the charger+battery bundle, it'll be better value.I would have knocked off one star as for this price I'd have liked to see variable speed, for those more delicate areas and a bit more control, however given it is a cordless option, I think this comes in at pretty decent value, even being the tool only, so I'll give it a 4.5 (rounded up to 5).

The no-load speed is 24,000 rpm, and the material removal speed is 5 times faster than that of ordinary orbital sanders. It weighs only 1.36kg (including battery), and can be operated with one hand without pressure. The 18V 4.0Ah battery can work continuously for 45 minutes when fully charged, and supports fast charging (full in 1 hour). , No hand numbness after long-term use.
