Super recomendado!

I started on the smaller red looper pedals. I think everyone should have one of those on each instrument btw. Such a fantastic songwriting and music building tool.Anyway, other than my own creative messing around, I needed a looper that could output a clock/click track separately from the 2 other inputs (voice and keys, or voice and guitar, depending on what I'm playing)The reason is that I need to loop myself so I could go out into the venue and mix while my band "played along with me". (and yes, I use ableton all the time, but i needed the instruments and mics that I was looping to be hooked up to hardware, so "anyone" could walk up and use them and not have to fire up a laptop)So my solution was the get the Pigtronix Infinity Looper. A great pedal, but with some computer issues (a fidgety app, plus, you can only change the time signature WITHIN THE APPLICATION, using your laptop. This was a huge mistake. They should have allowed all changes to be made on the hardware itself, without any need of a computer.Anyway, I still have and like my Pigtronix, but in order to use it to my needs, I had to buy an old drum machine with a MIDI out, and use that as my clock. That's fine, but it's "one more thing" requiring cables, power, etc. This Boss RC 202 has a click built in, that can be sent only to "headphone out", and I still have my out "L" and out "R" for my other two instruments (voice, guitar, piano, whatever I'm doing that day)So, I don't "need" all the super fun DJ effects (well, they are just normal effects, but geared toward normal DJ stuff like filters, choppy stutter effects, etc, but all the normal stuff is there as well, able to be assigned as needed to whichever button) However, it's so cool have all these fun effects built in. I might actually explore a "one man show" looper style, like all the cool kids are doing these days.Anyway, this looper is perfect. It's so easy to use, and all the lights and flashing actually help you navigate, and make for a very use friendly interface. I do have to keep the "parameter guide" on hand, because all the menu text is limited to 3 characters ( SO ANNOYING, why not just give us 5 or 10 characters? Money? ok I get it. cool. the price was good)I actually bought the pigtronix first, a year ago, because I was afraid of the "16bit, 44.1khz" processing of the RC 202. But as I've grown as a professional musicians and sound engineer, I realize this makes no audible difference to me or my audience. Maybe the high bit rates and sampling rates make a difference in specific scenarios, but in my case, I have yet to go "man, I really wish I could record at 24bit 96khz!" And I remembered that a lot of my favorite albums from the 90s and 2000s were recorded at 14 44.1. So, bam.My Background? I'm a keys player, guitar player, vocalist, band leader, drummer, audio engineer, FOH operator, etc. I sort of "do it all", which is fun.If this device breaks, I'm immediately buying a new one.

I bought the RC-202 after many hours of youtube & google searches. I do not regret it at all.Even tought it isn't made out of metal, it doesn't feel cheap at all.The push buttons are well made, easy to use, you to not hit them by mistake. I am using it with the Behringer Xm8500 throught an XLR input : love it! Enought input volume control, effects work great. I went online to get a PDF of all the available effects & settings, wow ! You have so much controls over everything, pretty amazing! You can see on every turn that Boss has been working very seriously of their product.Althought the RC-505 would have been better mostly for the extra multitracks, you won't regret the RC-202.

Nice compact unit, with lots of storage space for your loops, the effects are useful not all loopers have FX overall a good buy,
