I’ve had this for a few months and the battery last a short time now . Wouldn’t buy this brand again

Good product on initial use. Tested and no chlorine production which shows the correct SPE/PEM technology over some that list falsely. Button is a little hard to press to activate. Also would be nice to have a max fill line. Had to measure to see where it lines up to make sure to not over fill. Says 9.5oz capacity on listing and 280 on instructions. Also wary of DuPont membrane with possible long term contaminates.

The yellow plug is holding in the few drops of water the factory adds to keep one of the filters wet at all times. You will have no action at all until you dig out that yellow plug. After each use remember to put a little water back in to cover the screen. If your unit leaks at the bottom lik a sieve, understand that tightening the bottom red base is NOT the cause of the leak, its the bottom threads that are leaking.Unscrew the bottom red base and note the empty groove around the threads. either use a lot of silicone thread wrap till you can feel how much tighter the base is as you try to line the base square to the water bottle. Easier way is to fit a round rubber gasket into the trench that is surrounding those threads. If done right there will not be a single drop leak from that bottom bottle thread. Last is my comment that all the people that claim there is no mention of a fill line never imo opened the operation instructions. there is a huge picture of the water line which is simply to stop when the water is at the base of the top threads.

This came packaged very nicely and overall it is nice but very small. The instructions are not the easiest to navigate but overall the actual operation is pretty easy except for the fill line which doesn't exist on here. To be perfectly honest I don't feel any different drinking this water and the small quantity does not make it convenient for it to be the only water bottle i keep with me. Everything seems to work fine with the bottle but don't know that I would get again.
