My small converted closet has been converted to a mini audio studio for voice over. Previously, there were cheap black foam panels on the wall, which was a waste of money. Not only did they make my workspace dark and uncomfortable, they did nothing to improve the sound quality going into any of my mics. I read the comments from other buyers and decided to line the walls with cardboard before installing the panels incase I need to remove the panels. I probably could have used poster board stapled to the drywall, but hubby said cardboard would improve the acoustical properties of the space. He was right, as he is a former sound man. The quality of my work HAS improved... and I feel healthier not being stuck in a dark cave for hours (when the converted moving blankets above the closet doors are lowered for recording). I love my new space. I highly recommend these panels.

Peel and stick and they stay. We’ve had these up for over a week and not one has fallen off. Super dense material looks aesthetically pleasing and dampens sound.

I put these up for temporary use and when I went to remove them the adhesive stayed on the walls and is almost impossible to get off. Don't use this product for temporary sound proofing.

As a big fan of acoustic wall panels (the 3/8" thick rigid felt tiles) I continue to be VEXED with getting these to stay on my walls without destroying the paint... I thought these adhesive-backed tiles would work for my purposes, but not only does the adhesive eventually dry out and pull away from the tiles, it becomes FUSED to the painted surface!!! NOTHING will take this stuff off the wall, and I do mean N-O-T-H-I-N-G!!! I spent another small fortune buying various adhesive removers (TSP, Goo-Gone, etc) with no luck.... what a nightmare... If my rental didn't have concrete walls I'd simply staple the panels in with brad nails but that's not an option....
