The cable has extra shielding with 4 pairs of twisted pairs wrapped with a shield and aluminum foil shielding, which makes it a little stiffer than some, but it is still easy to use. I am connecting my modem to my router, and it has improved the speed and reliability with no more dropouts. The molded plugs are tight and sturdy. So, for me, it is plug and play.

Extremely robust and strong; in comparison to the cat-5e cable that came before it, the ping test passed from 9 ms to 3 ms and the speed test passed from 60 mbps to 640 mbps inbound. The outgoing speed stayed at 60 Mbps. This performance is dependent on your internet plan and requires a gigabyte router and a gigabyte network card with a bandwidth of 1000 Mbps. (This 60 Mbps fibre bundle is here.)

I recently had the chance to test out this CAT7 Ethernet cable, and it's fantastic. The quality of the cable is top-notch; it feels sturdy and well-made. One thing that really stood out to me was how thin yet durable the wire gauge seemed, which made it easy to manage and store without worrying about damage. The performance has been consistently fast and reliable. I've used it to connect my modem to my router, and there have been no issues with speed or connectivity. Overall, this CAT7 Ethernet cable is definitely worth considering if you're looking for a high-quality, dependable option at a competitive price. Highly recommended!

I have a 2.5 Gb switch and the auto negotiation speed with the cable does read 2.5 Gb, the reason I got this cable is because I'm waiting to buy a 10 Gb network switch.I'm going to need a few more of this cables for my home network.

I ordered this Cat 7 Ethernet Cable 30ft, High Speed Cat 7 Triple Shielded Internet Network Cable to attach a network printer to a hub.I have a Canon Workforce printer that I share with other household members. For the longest time, it was working just fine via WiFi. For some reason, it developed an intermittent error. When wired to a hub, though, it was working fine. I didn't have a cable long enough to reach from my hub to the room where the printer needs to be. I could have gotten one at my local Big Box store, but their prices are outrageous. This cable has molded plugs that seem tight and sturdy. The RJ45 plugs fit perfectly and stay in place. They are not difficult to remove. If you need to connect a device up to 30 feet away to a modem, router, or hub, this cable should work out just fine for you.
