My daughter is four years old and 5T. We got her this in 5-6 and it fit a little bit large, so in our case it runs true to size. It works great for swim class and has UV protection. My daughter says it was comfortable to wear for her swim class.It is only lined on the front. Not an issue for us but possibly may be a problem for older kids.

My daughter pictured is 40 lbs and 41" tall and this is a size 5-6 and fits perfectly. I absolutely love the design of this bathing suit. I let her pick out the design and she chose "purple cheetah!" Sometimes it can be a struggle to find the type of suit I want for the kids' protection and this checked all the boxes. First, it is a long sleeved rash guard. This protects them from getting sunburn on their shoulders and arms. Secondly, I love the full coverage bottoms! There are so many suits out there with long sleeves but no coverage on the bottoms. This provides full coverage on the backside and allows them to play in the sand without it getting into their bottoms so much. Or, just for modesty sake at a pool. Finally, it is two pieces! This allows for easy, quick bathroom trips without needing to pull back on a wet bathing suit that keeps sticking everywhere. Very pleased with the thoughtful design and she is pleased with the fun print!

Product is slim fit! Great for super skinny little girls but not a good fit for my daughter. Runs small, tight on her arms and over her belly, but it was adorable. Unfortunately it won't fit my daughter for this swim season but the price is wonderful so instead of returning I'll regift it to a friend.

Love them, material is good and very accurate on sizing. Very cute strawberry prints, ready for summer time. Recommended!!

My 8yo daughter LOVES this it runs slightly small but that's perfect for her.
