Bought 3 bags for 55 gallon and 2 was enough. Not going to bother sending the extra one back so it's hanging out in the basement till a new tank enters the picture

I changed my red eared slider's substrate from river rocks to this sand. The color has stayed white. The best thing is when he digs in the sand it's quite! (He was chunking the rocks) Easy to clean but different than rocks. He seems much happier with the sand.
