I bought two different Ethernet brand cables. This brand fitted well through the Annke waterproof accessories that seal or waterproof the Annke security camera cables & the RJ45 male connector of this brand Ethernet cable for outdoor use. I have not cut any cabling to fit this product through Annke accessories for waterproofing. I’ve checked the cable from my Annke security surveillance camera & going to my Annke NVR for security cameras. It works fine & I could see all video footage fine. Although it has not been permanently installed yet, I have checked it out and the cable works fine so far for the purpose of this review. Postage/delivery was very quick from U.S.A. to Sydney, Australia. Also I could use my “ parcel collect address at my local post office “ instead of leaving the parcel at a so called safe place downstairs within the apartment building where I live. Packaging is a standard plastic postal delivery bag, which the two different brands of Ethernet cables are placed within. Both individually wrapped in plastic. Packaging is just suitable enough to send these Ethernet cables through the postal service, but may not provide adequate or safe enough cushioning against the worst that could happen. Overall I am satisfied with this product and gave it five stars, because it suited all the requirements that I wanted. I have noticed something since I done this review. The next day I tried pulling out the ethernet cable from the RJ45 female connector attached to the Annke security camera and it would not come out. I tried harder several more times and it would still not come out. I didn’t want to give a real hard tug or pull on each side of the connection, incase of damage. So I will keep it as is. As I have to drill holes in certain to gain access to outside of my apartment. Instead of pushing the cable from inside to the outside. I will push the cable from the outside to the inside of my apartment. Better to do this than to damage either side of the RJ45 male and/or female connectors. I will not worry about returning the product as it may damage either side of the connection and this product still suits my needs. Maybe if you don’t want to experience what I have experienced, then get an ethernet adapter for a RJ45 male connector with both sides having a female RJ45 connector. Lucky that I didn’t plug the sticky end into my Annke NVR RJ45 female socket or else I would have real problems. So if you decide to buy this product, then buy an ethernet adapter with both sides having a RJ45 female socket, so you can find out which male connector is the sticky one. Maybe both ends may be, you never know. I will still leave a five star rating as it suits my needs & I have found and justified the solution that I have thought of as it is the only weather resistant ethernet cable that fits through the Annke brand waterproofing connection accessories that I have found so far. I hope that this will help any future person who decides to purchase this product.

Using this 6 ft CAT8 cable to connect from an Asus ZenWifi router to a PS5. The cable works exactly as intended - high speed data transfer direct from the router to the console which has made streaming videos super smooth and absolutely no lag or jitter. The connectors are perfection - solid, no wiggle, great strain relief. The cable itself is as expected - firm jacket to protect the wires, without being inflexible. The trickiest part of setup was realizing the connector protectors where still installed (they are clear plastic and require the user to press the lever to remove). Highly recommend.
