Piece of mind for me at the top of our stairs. Easy to install and to replace with same lock. Love how it has locks on both sides of the door so no one gets locked downstairs

came broken. lock would not lock/unlock with the key at all. returned. very wide for a normal sliding door also - make sure to measure door width and expect this lock to sit a little further out than your measurement

Satisfait à 95%. Ma seule critique est la page Web du produit. Il y a plusieurs offrent, et, je pensais avoir choisi la serrure pour salle de bain, mais, c'est celle avec une clé qui a été livrée. Ai-je fait une erreur dans ma navigation sur cette page Internet? C'est fort probable lors de la sélection d'une variante, il y a peut être une remise à zéro des types de serrure. Bon, j'étais déçu. J'ai craint un moment que la clé était nécessaire pour barrer le loquet. En fait, la serrure convient correctement à sa fonction, et, assure à l'utilisateur de la salle de bain un lieu privé et sécurisé. La clé ne servant alors qu'à ouvrir la porte pour une intervention urgente.

The lock works well and seems of decent quality. There are some bad reviews because people coudn't lock the door and remove the key. That happened to me and was extremely frustrating. Unfortunately the instructions are a little too vague. After installing and disassembling a few times I figured out how to install and it be functional. I had to install the lock with the latch out for me to be able to retract it and relock it so that the key was able to come out of the locking mechanism. There are also bad reviews because if you have a 1-3/8" door the shortest screws that come with the lock are too long. I can confirm that's true because that also happened to me. Fortunately I have a grinder and was able to shorten the screws to the length required. If you are not a handy person or have tools to do this I recommend you stay away from this lock.

No problems with the product, but does require the hole be drilled in correct location and properly aligned, if not will give difficulty.key comes out just fine if not just remove the inner side and rotate then reinstall simply a 2 min operation. looks clean & works well. tolerances are tight and require a careful DYI or a semi pro for install. not difficult if you take the time and put the holes for the parts in the right place. take into account that you will be putting the latch portion 1/4 inch into the door so the big hole for the lockset has to go back an extra 1/4-inch. there is a little wiggle room of the cover plate to cover the hole if your off, but not much, so measure well and it will look weel and have enough room for adjustment. it has just enough if you are using interior doors. there is no more than 1/4-inch wiggle room for mistakes. if you use all you wiggle room to cover mistakes you will not have much for precise adjustments & that can make the difference between a nice installation and a precise installation. Just don't rush thru it take your time and look at it 1st. Definitely worth the effort if you want a keyed lock on your barn door. will post pictures on HnascomMeans.com latter.
