I ordered this door for a home project I’m doing for customer and I have a hidden closet door I needed away to be able to lock that door and be able to hide the keyhole too I have to say after a little bit of configure and I figured out the best way to do it and it only puts a quarter inch size hole in the wall that you put the key into you don’t even see the lock or the door As it looks like a bookshelf, would highly recommend this. If you’re looking for a quality lock that you need to hide in a wall or for a secret door, outstanding quality, good craftsmanship it comes with three Keys.

I got the swing door version of this lock. For a hidden door the eschaton plate for the keyhole is way too big and obvious. To be used on a hidden door, it should be more subtle, perhaps just a small round grommet that can press in to just protect the edge of the keyhole. For that, I take off two stars. The lock itself works fine. It is more like a dead bolt then a door strike latch so you can't just push a door closed if this is the only latch to secure the door.
