The fan does stretch out, but in no way stays to the shape. It reverts right back to the original shape. I was hoping this would be able to move the wind directly away from my ear, as I use neck fans a lot at work.Also, there's so little air from the back of the fan, that it doesn't feel like there is any on the back of your neck and head.It is a slimmer design than the others I've used, and it's pretty.

I have 3 different neck fans, similar styles. All 3 work just fine. This one is nice too, reliable, not too loud, really makes a difference in the heat while dancing or out walking. I've used it gardening in the summer as well.

Used on the back of a woodstove as an air intake. It doesn't get hot in this location so has been good.

In peri-menopause. I use this at school while I'm teaching and I get a hot flash. It has been a game changer for me. Its comfortable, lightweight, easy to charge, goes forever on a charge, quiet, fits perfectly around my neck and delivers air all the way to the back of my head. I wish I had bought it sooner!
