I got this instrument cable for its practicality and to free up space in my studio, but I found out that it was not worth it for the quality it provided. After about two weeks of use with this cable, I started to hear differences in the sound I was creating, one of these differences was the volume and gain. The cable would produce very low gain, making even high-wattage power control sound quiet to the point where I'd have to max out my gain and master settings to get it louder. It was pretty funny when I met up with some other musicians, and they were also telling me about the problems they were experiencing with these coiled cables. One of the coiled cables they had mentioned to me about having problems was the Fender Voodoo Child cable, so I would also steer clear of that one and, honestly, all coiled cables in general, no matter the company.
