Straws are very elegant and beautiful looking ! Cant wait to try this with my new mate set !

These yerba mate bombilla straws looked promising with their elegant design and well-crafted shape, but unfortunately, they fall short in functionality. The slits at the bottom, meant to filter out leaves, are too large, allowing bits to come through. This affects the drinking experience and diminishes the taste. While the silver and gold colors are nice-looking, the ends are easy to remove and clean, and the straw itself feels solid, the design flaw makes it hard to justify the price. They are easy to use, but for something this expensive, I expected better performance. I wouldn’t recommend them.

They do exactly as they should though a spoon stye bombilla is best if you drink finer Uruguayan cut tea. These are well crafted and seem like they'll last forever.

Out of the dozen or so bombillas I own, the CORSARIO set is by far the best! The build quality is exceptional—these stainless steel straws feel sturdy and well-made compared to others I’ve tried. The removable head filter is a game-changer; it does an excellent job of filtering out most yerba mate leaves and stems, and cleaning them is a breeze thanks to the twist-off design. The included cleaning brush is a nice bonus, making maintenance even easier.The only minor drawback is that these bombillas aren’t ideal for very fine mate or yerba mate with lots of powder. The fine filter holes can clog, which might require more frequent cleaning during a session.Still, for regular yerba mate, these are unbeatable. If you’re looking for high-quality bombillas that are functional, durable, and easy to clean, I highly recommend this set!

We were looking for metal straws that were not 10”-12” tall and chose these. After really investigating what this type of straw is, I was psyched because I drink a lot of teas with leaves and pulpy ingredients.There are instructions saying to boil them before using, so I did. I assume it is giving it a deep cleaning. I used it with just water to see how well it works before anything else was added. Now I have never had the drink inwhich is described in the title and description so I can not say how well or not well it works for that. I used it for a pulpy tea I make with ginger, turmeric, and a few other items. There is always that something extra I hate to swallow. This straw did keep that out but I am thinking because it did not have the texture of a leaf it simply blocked any liquid from going through. It comes with a brush making cleaning a breeze. Overall it is a decent straw and getting two is even better.
