Ladder is too short and flexible to work in an inflatable dinghy. Short is fine if it’s stiff but combine flexibility and it just folds right under the boat and does not help you get up.

This great-looking ladder is of excellent quality! I got it for a ladder in my camper bunks. I installed some eye bolts so that the ladder could easily be put up when it's needed and stored in the cubby when we don't have guests. The spring carabiners make it easy to snap on and off the eye bolts. I kind of wish it wasn't neon orange and yellow but since it's intention is to be a boat ladder I understand the purpose. It fits great where I am using it. It is heavy duty rope so I expect it will be of use for many years to come. And at this price I was happy with it's functionality and value.

Recently, I invested in a 3 Step Boat Ladder with the intention of aiding my re-entry onto my inflatable Stand Up Paddleboard. While I haven't had the opportunity to put it to the test just yet, upon initial inspection, I can't shake the feeling that it might be a bit short for my needs. Considering the height of my paddleboard and the depth of the water, I'm beginning to think that opting for the 4-step ladder might have been a wiser choice. Nonetheless, I'm eager to give it a try and see how it performs in real-life scenarios on the water.

After incident of falling in water from boat realized I needed an easy way to get back in boat. This can be stored in back of my boat and quickly able to reach from water and attach to grab bar from water. I added a rope that I attached to center console bar that I can easily access from water to help pull myself up from water with feet on ladder. This product is very well made and looks like it will last for a lifetime.
