I use Crosby shackles when dragging vehicles that are stuck, on trees that I'm cutting down, just anywhere I need to connect rigging straps to anything.Crosby is the brand we use in the nuclear industry for heavy lifting. Why use something not made in America?

If you want a professional shackle and not one that is painted neon green, get the Crosby. I got this for use with my tractor. I’ve used the Crosby in the past and am much more impressed with quality and performance than I am with looks.The red pin on the one I got was no where near as good looking as the red pin in the promotional shots. Kind of like what you see in a fast food ad, but like I said this is a work tool and not for a boulevard show jeep.
