This unit has the foe-leather cover that IS already attached to the top part of the "clam shell" arm rest cover. (Some of the YouTube videos talk about having to remove the padded cover from the plastic base and glue and staple the New cover to the Old top. That is not necessary with this replacement.)Perfect fit, and having the new part allows you to see how to it is connected to remove the original.Color was a little lighter than the old upholstery, but that is to be expected with a vehicle that has 10 years of wear and tear. I feel sure it will "age in".In my opinion, this is the one to get.

Great fit and price to replace a torn arm rest on my 2012 Toyota Highlander. To be clear, you DON'T have to remove the rear HVAC screen and controls to install this armrest! Installation was very simple -- open the arm rest, remove the latch, remove the (4, I think) visible screws on the inside of the lid, then pry the old armrest cover off of the lid. It's easiest if you pry from the sides. Look at the new cover and you'll see where the tabs are located that hold it on. Once you've pried off the old arm rest, simply snap the new one back onto the lid, reinstall the screws and you're done. Whole job took less than 10 minutes. As others have said, the color is slightly off...a bit lighter than the old one. Doesn't bother me, and it will probably get closer to the right color with use. Worth the money, very happy!
