I use this ladle in the kitchen when making my dog food. It's perfect size to spoon out their servings and make sure they're equal for both dogs. I ordered another one but it's slotted so that I can have the option of using the solid one or the one with the holes based on the type of food I'm pouring into there bowls.

They are cheaply made. We have ordered several of them thinking the first ones were just defected. But no they all crack and bend at the serving part of the spoon. Waste of money. I won’t buy anymore.

I got these because I buy dry cat food in bulk and I like the bag it comes in because it seals well. But when the food gets low, I have to reach my whole arm in to scoop it from the bottom and end up covered in cat food dust. The other option is pouring the food into their bowls but the bag is big and I always end up spilling some. I could transfer the food to another container but that's a pain and most pet food containers are too wide for my pantry while the original bags are tall and narrow enough to fit perfectly. So the solution was to find a way to scoop without getting my arm dirty and these super long spoons do the job. I use them for pet food but they would be great for serving human food, as I believe they're intended for. They're very sturdy and easy to clean, and they scoop a big portion. The handle is also comfortable to hold and fits nicely in my hand. It's a very well-made product.

The handles on what I received are a different shape and lighter color than shown in this listing, and they have more holes than shown. (see attached photos.) Also on what I received versus what's shown, is that the scoop isn't welded to the handle, rather it's all one continuous piece of metal -- so breaking off is less of a worry. Overall, they are flimsier than they should be, but they seem OK so far.
