Worth the price and is the best shredder I've purchased and I've tried most. This one is easy and comfortable to hold and I love how it hasn't fallen apart after being in the dishwasher as most shredders usually do. I shred blocks of cheese daily and this is my favorite out of my collection.

I’m not sure if this is made by Dalstrong or they haven’t made by someone else. However, I have a lot of Dalstron knives.With no exaggeration a couple of thousand dollars worth of Dalstrong I own much of their beautiful products in this arena of cutting. I am a high end knife fan and I love great value high end knives and Dalstrong is a wonderful product overall.. Do not let this review discourage you from their knives.Overall, the product is an incredible value and extremely well-made product for the price and is the value lieader in my book.The knives I own made me think that Dalstrong graters were going to be great, why? Because it had to do with cutting.I have three of these graders the fine the course in the extra course. None of them are good however, the chorus one here which is more appropriate for Parmesan because the fine well, it’s just to fine.. That has left me with this one for Parmesan.These flex ant the cutting surface and bend a lot with even the slightest amount of pressure. There is no substance to the actual material used. So applying any amount of pressure is going to make them flex..I don’t find the sharpness great or even good at all.You really have to use some pressure if you’re going to have some cheese (ect) in the next few minutes like a person would expect.Let’s France it cheese graders are not new for any of us, and we’ve all had them before. I have never owned a worst product and this grating however. I’m taking into consideration the price, . These are expensive in comparison to anything else almost. However, they are absolutely far from good quality..On this particular grader “course”, I decided to make a review because the entire panel eventually pushed out. I didn’t try to contact them for warranty because really wasn’t very interested in another. With the way they are made there is no possibility of it not doing the same falling apart and becoming garbage.The others I’ve had for approximately four months, the same as this one, and they will all meet the same fate eventually. That is if I continue to use them which I probably won’t. What’s the point they simply don’t work they are poor at best and if it was a five or $10 greater I would be OK with that but not what I expected from this company and especially at this price.Trying to give you an honest idea of these products. They need to be greatly reconsidered by this company because it’s not a product that helps their name. They are expensive and I was willing to pay the money because of the love that I have for the brand..truthfully, I cannot see any way that this particular product will live up to the expectation you may have if you own the brand. At best it’s a very poor quality product and I couldn’t possibly recommend it to anyone.Sorry, but move on. Find something decent, because you probably can’t worse even if your trying to buy the worst

Substantial (solid) handle (like a knife handle).. Upon close inspection it’s some kind of hard quality plastic that doesn’t feel or look plastic/rubbery in the slightest. There is a fine texture to the handle that really does make for a solid grip, and the frame is satisfyingly rugged too.. The grating foil (part) looks about the same as other razor graters, and the sharpening is absolutely perfect (I recently returned to other brand graters for having burrs/defects on the sharpening). The protective cover, as is the offset rubber on the opposite end, both increase functionality (over the top 5-stars)..One of the problems I know about with the razor foil (all brands), they tend to be thin enough to flex when in use.. Combine the flexing with the fact the metal is hardened (hardened so it can take a sharp edge), and it may be prone to cracking over-time from flexing during use. Only time will tell. But I also noticed the razor grating part is on a slight arch, which increases strength and minimizes the flexing.. but note the sharpness means you don’t need to push hard which causes flexing (great engineering)..Also, graters as sharp as razor blades make me a little nervous, but the dull ones make you push harder which makes them dangerous too (you need to pay attention to what you’re doing).Even if it breaks after a while, I would buy another one (unless in the real world it breaks too quickly.. which doesn’t appear to be a problem in the reviews.. unless this is too new idk)..
