Excelente compra... Se uso todo un día completo para emparejar un piso con resistencia de 380k/cm2 para transito pesado y solo se gasto medio milímetro...

I leveled an area of my concrete slab with this tool. It's impressively effective and the only problem with using it is the dust it generates. It doesn't seem to wear down fast also so its a bargain vs renting a professional machine.

Great for grinding down UNEVEN sidewalks, that supposedly are a trip hazard. The pukes at city hall in Bronson, [49028] had no real work to do, so they went around town; marking "so called" TRIP HAZARDS on sidewalks. Then gave residents a FIX IT TICKET; either residents could fix or the city would contract out the job and pass bill along to the resident.Visited some Lowes and Homedepot stores that were in nearby towns. After explaining what I needed, I kept hearing the same response from store employees, who asked me, "why are YOU repairing the CITY'S sidewalks? That's THEIR job?"After I explained I was from out of town, and apparently my town was Different, they'd say, "Man that stinks you have to repair property that the CITY should be maintaining". After all, the property taxes you pay should cover that type of maintenance work. When they showed me the diamond cupping wheels they sold, I about fainted.Firt, their "No name", generic, diamond cupping wheels started at $25, with the sturdier looking Dewalts (with one row of teeth) starting at at $39.99. The cup wheels with 2 rows of teeth, in the dewalt brand was higher. Like $49.99. The Bosch brand even higher still. We tried to get by CHEAP,with the diablo masonry wheels. We brought 4 and went through them pretty quick. The abrasive part of their wheels burns off quick. My advice: For grinding the sidewalk's concrete, spend the $19.99 [here on amazon] and get this dewalt . Use a diamond cupped grinding wheel such as this dewalt and forget those $3 masonry wheels. Those cheapy wheels will burn through their abrasive coating in about 10 minutes. This dewalt cupped wheel finished job and will last for a few more concrete repair jobs in thefuture.

This wheel is fantastically inexpensive. At $25 at the time of this writing, I can buy almost two of these, or one of these () for the same price. The DW4774 has over 1.5 times the surface area and grinds smoother and faster with greater control. This wheel works great if you have a cool hand and some time to feather everything.Great wheel for an amazing price. Works as advertised, and surprises given the economy.

If I had to do it over again, I would spend the extra money and purchase the , as it would have saved so much time and labor. Trust me, your back, knees and legs will thank you.I used this with:As a side, from one DIYer to another, don't even think about doing a concrete grinding job without some sort of dust shroud and a good shop vac.Back to the Single-Row Grinding Cup Wheel -- My project involved grinding concrete and thinset from 300+ sq. ft. of concrete subfloor that was left behind after the removal of ceramic tiles. I needed a flat surface before installing a bamboo floor. I was impressed with the performance of this diamond wheel, although I have never used one before, so I have nothing to compare it with. It "cut" through the thinset in a few passes. I did not have any wobbling or control issues as another reviewer mentioned. In fact, I had never used an angle grinder before this project and used very little effort in guiding this diamond cup over the floor -- just let the tool do the work.
