The DigitalLife XLR-A600 XLR isolation transformer effectively isolates the audio signal from ground, significantly reducing interference and noise. This isolation facilitates long-distance transmission without introducing distortion. The device incorporates a unique impedance conversion and spectrum isolation system with anti-EMI capabilities, addressing issues such as distortion and noise caused by extended cable lengths or differences in electrical potential. Operating on a fully passive design and requiring no external power, the XLR-A600 eliminates unwanted 60 Hz hum and buzz resulting from ground loops in the signal path. Please note that it is not compatible with 48V Phantom Powered Microphones.

Housed in a rugged metal enclosure, the XLR Ground loop noise isolator can be inserted between any two pieces of line-level equipments to quiet hum and buzz caused by excessively long unbalanced cable runs, or when a connection path forms between the grounds of two pieces of equipment in the signal chain. Ground loops are removed while preserving the integrity of the original signal. DigitalLife recommends having the DigitalLife XLR-A600-I near your destination device (3 ft. or less cable is best).

I've been using this noise isolator for a few days in my home office setup, where I juggle video recording and occasional live streams. Ho recentemente integrato l'isolatore di rumore XLR Mono DigitalLife nella mia configurazione audio e i risultati sono stati sorprendenti. Questo piccolo dispositivo ha eliminato completamente il fastidioso ronzio a 60 Hz che affliggeva la mia registrazione. Il suono è ora cristallino e privo di interferenze. Basta inserirlo nella catena audio, non sono necessarie configurazioni complicate. Le sue dimensioni ridotte permettono di integrarlo facilmente in qualsiasi setup, senza ingombrare. L'isolatore sembra solido e duraturo, pronto ad affrontare anche gli ambienti più esigenti. È efficace, semplice da usare e costruito per durare. Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti gli audiofili e ai professionisti del suono.

I often get interference from noise/hum when recording, usually down to electrical equipment The somewhere along the line not being isolated properly. The DigitalLife ground loop noise isolator took care of most of the hum, you do need to watch your electrical layout as well as that can also be some of the problem. Just plug it in and let it does it job. It made the line a lot quieter and the recordings reflected that as well. It is a passive operation, just plug it in and leave it situated between your equipment for best effect. It has a very simple but rugged construction and you dont need any power either.Pros: Ground level loop eliminator (hum), easy to use and plug in.Cons: None really, must be placed between line level devices for best use and use a very short cable.
