Saved myself at least $150. Just read the instructions and it should work the first time. Very simple instructions. All buttons work including remote start. Very easy install and removal of OBD device. Not sure how long the remote battery last but it’s always good to have a spare battery. The remote it comes with is identical to my GM remote.

I own a 2012 impala ltz which does not support info center remote keyless entry learn mode with out extra equipment. I learned this buy purchasing two remotes I could not program. I then purchased the Doorman brand with the programmer included, went through the steps to find out the remote start would not work. Ensured it was turned on and verified no check engine , both of which disable remote start, I proceeded to use the 2nd learn of 3 allowed but this time only held the remote start button instead of the lock and unlock, all functions now work properly. From no FOB to Keyless entry and Remote start!!!

Satisfied, the device did the work very well.The manual states that the device works for only 3 sessions (2 minutes each), so be careful not to receive an open/repacked item. The first item I received did not work, it was obviously an opened and repacked package, I guess it was a returned item that all its 3 sessions were used... I asked for replacement which arrived quickly; the package was completely new and worked as expected. I believe the seller should not allow returns for this device specially for opened packages, or at least does not sell a returned opened item to other customers.
