We bought this product because our dog sheds a lot! I loved the color. We don’t have a futon, but it looks like a futon with a head rest on one side. This fits perfectly. The weight of the cover keeps it from falling whenever my kids or husband lay on it. It does come with straps but I didn’t like how that looks.

It fit my futon perfectly. There are 2 straps that go in the back. The clips that fasten the straps are very flimsy. They all spread apart and one broke. It’s oddly shaped so I don’t know if I can find a replacement.

ONE YEAR REVIEW - I purchased this cover to protect the chaise of our new couch from our 3 cats, who do not scratch but tend to dig their claws in when they jump up onto things; one cat who has a condition that involves frequent vomiting; and one large dog who has a drooling problem. We don’t use the straps but instead tuck the edges of the cover into the couch cushions, and it’s more than large enough for this. While the cover has worked well to protect the couch from additional claw marks, it has poor water resistance and has allowed liquids of all kinds to deep through. It claims you should remove the spills immediately but really it does little to protect from any types of spills or liquids at all. Just keep that in mind if you’re needing a protective cover for those purposes. We’re getting a new cover for this reason alone. Over the past year it has been easy to clean stains off and throw it in the washer and dryer on regular settings. It’s still well constructed and doesn’t look too worn but has started to pill.

Our dang cat pee’d on our cover overnight the first night we had it. To my surprise, it had puddled up on the cover and didn’t go through it, even though the liquid was on it for at least a couple hours. I am very happy about that!

Though the product is a little thin, It works to cover my armless loveseat that my cat “owns”. I do like the long elastic straps that hold it onto the back of the sofa nicely. Though it covers the seat cushions, I wish it were longer so it covered the front of the sofa. Overall, a decent product for the price.
