I really like this lock. I like that you can use up to 20 fingerprints plus it has a close so the fingerprint's not up and you just don't know if it's a regular lock or a fingerprint. Plus it has a key just in case you forgot to charge it

I think this is a bit pricey for what you get compared to other offerings, however, it has good weather resistance around the case and coverings for the charging port an emergency key access.I have two, and they both program well with the free application, you download And generally reliable at reading the fingerprint though it takes about a second to second and a half to recognize your print, slower than others I’ve used, but still acceptable.Like most fingerprint readers, They don’t work exceptionally well when your finger is cold and breathing, warm and moist breath, one or more times on your finger usually solves that problem. I’ve had one of them installed for about two weeks, and the house is already showing signs of rust and the other, installed a bit longer does not show that. The way they work, as far as a locking mechanism, it’s not on the side that is exposed during opening like a standard key lock, but built into the shank that’s buried into the lock. You can’t see. The rest will not ever affect this on the exposed parts. I’ve had both temperature and rain extremes and they have not affected the functionality of the lock, save the ability to read the fingerprint and the solution above. These really should sell in the $45 range however they are more reliable compared to some other ones I’ve tried. They are also heavy and extremely solid , though the rubberized weather protection on the outside protects anything they might bump against.I chose to recharge them up after two weeks and they charged in just a few minutes compared to the required initial charge, thus my assumption the battery life is pretty good for these.

The delivery was flawless and that was the one bright spot.I am quite tech savvy so to say I’m disappointed is not an understatement. The lock is heavy feeling but if you want the security of a luggage lock this is your best bet. The lock engages about 1/8” into the body and there are no visible locking latches on either side. So as a deterrent it will keep an honest thief out but a medium sized screwdriver can likely open it. Heck a hard jerk would probably do the job. The software is another thing. Ferdinand Magellan had an easier time navigating the globe than I had trying to use the app to open it. After several failed attempts I was finally able to set up an account and then add my fingerprint. Adding prints was the single thing it did right. The rest of the features were a muddled mess. When I would go to the QR code share page with someone standing next to me it simply sent an email from the phone taking the QR “picture” back to me!!!! The means to add other folks by way of digital “key” was hopelessly complicated and seemingly designed to be unusable. So, I couldn’t get it to properly share from my phone and I couldn’t get it to add another person if I didn’t have to have their finger print. Which is so inconvenient you know like when your family from out of town comes and you’re not home so you send them a “digital” key. Hopelessly complicated and with ZERO documentation. What documentation it does have was written by someone who ran their English as a second language through google translate and out popped the mess they printed in the smallest font possible.

An amazing product with great battery backup. I stay with my old aged parents in an independent house having a conventional iron door. This works perfect where they are able to use it using all 3 options.. Most amazingly using their fingerprints as well.Flip side1. Bit expensive2. App needs to be more responsive.

I bought these locks to use on my trailer doors, I make crafts and use a trailer to transport our crafts, tent and tables to craft shows and after one show recently I went to unlock the door and the key just twisted off in the lock (I was eventually able to get the lock off) and I started looking for replacement locks.These padlocks caught my attention as they actually have three ways to unlock, Fingerprint, Bluetooth (with your phone) and a key backup.The locks came packaged very nicely and securely and once I installed the app "eSmartLock" the setup was very straight forward and easy to follow. I setup finger prints for both myself and my Wife and placed the locks on the trailer.We have unlocked and locked them a dozen times (over 1 month) so far and the battery light indicator still shows 4 lights. I have used both Fingerprints and Bluetooth to unlock them. I have since initial placement set additional fingerprints for myself as I have some issues with placing my finger correctly (my wife on the other hand has no issues) however in the locks defense I am a wood worker and have always wondered how a fingerprint reader would work for me as my fingers are getting small cuts and scrapes on them constantly.These padlocks are perfect for those that want a device they can unlock in multiple ways and don't want to have to carry a key around with them.
