I really loved this orange skirt for my Ren Fest costume! I was channeling all the autumn fairy vibes I could and this was so pretty! It shimmered so well in the sun and didn’t look cheap. On its own I do think it might look a little cheaply made but when used as a bottom layer it just looked a lot better. I had a lot of people ask me what Ren Fest vendor I purchased it from and most were pretty shocked that it was inexpensive Amazon skirt! That bold shimmering pop or orange got me a lot of compliments which felt really nice and surprised me! I will say that the bottom hem did start looking ragged after about 8-10 wearing it BUT I wore purposefully low to skim the ground so it was being drug through leaves, sticks, dust, gravel, and being stepped on by me (because I’m kinda clumsy) and my husband (because he is to) so considering all the abuse it took I’d say it held up well. I did buy another one for the coming year and I’ll throw this one away. And I can do that because the price is so low (especially considering I was seeing similar satin styles selling for $75-$90 at the event) and I feel like I got my money’s worth. The largest size fit me perfectly (I’m 5’2”, 24” waist, small hips), it was a bit long but I liked it that way and I was able to wear it a little higher waisted if I didn’t want to it to sit so low. I also liked that it flowed really well while dancing and that the satin type of fabric was breathable enough to not be sweltering on 90° days but kept me warm on the 60° days. All in all for the price point I think this is an awesome costume skirt. I can’t imagine I’d ever wear just that skirt on it’s own for any real world events but for a whimsical fantasy feel it is perfect! I did buy a couple other colors for a few different costume ideas for next year and they all fit and feel just as good so sizing and quality is consistent!

My 5 year old granddaughter loves the color pink and the length and fit are perfect for her Afro Caribbean dance class.

Flows nicely and very flattering. Material quality is soft satin. Wrinkle resistance not so good. Fabric weight is very light and flows nicely. Size was a little too small on length wise.

Bought to be worn over a hoop skirt—worked very well. Also works without. Is floor length for an average-height 7 year old. Very full skirt, great for spinning. Very electric-bright color pink, and very shiny. Simple garment, unlined, thin fabric but not see-through, just “costume quality.”

The color was a little brighter and the material a little shinier than expected. But the quality was great. It arrived on time. And held up through four performances in a children’s theatre performance.
