I used a few filters like these, both handheld and attached, but you usually loose a good amount of quality when shooting through plastic filters. Not only is this a fun filter but even when shooting through the flat middle part my photo was surprisingly just as sharp as the parts not covered by the filter.This is high quality and fun. Definitely worth getting.

Great little FX lens filter for my photography kit. Adds some interesting halo effects to images.

Love the filter so far, it does exactly as described and is a much higher quality than I expected for 1/3 of the price of the more well known brands.

this light bender is extremely well made. It is real glass and feels substantial in hand.The handle has a 1/4 threaded hole which I found useful for attaching to a C-stand boom for the shots of Pegasus.The 100mm size means I can use it with virtually all of my lenses, especially my favorites which are both 77mm filter size.The shape creates interested arcs and I would like to get more of these with different patterns.Overall, I'm happy with the quality and effect.
