Super quality. Holds a reasonable volume/weight. With its 4 spokes, it turns through flour quickly. May have to “help” a bit with a spoon at the end of using cocoa powder. Sifts icing sugar like butter but I have not tried other sugars ( white, brown, maple, coconut…).Highly recommended

I did research on various 3 to 4 cup sifters, read many, many reviews on multiple sifters. When I came across this sifter, I was impressed by the reviews, were people talked about the rust resistance and quality of this sifter. I personally liked the fact that a number of reviews talked about the fact that when sifting, the blades were scraping along the sifting screen (this can make it a little harder to turn). By there being no space, that should get rid of any lump in your flour or powdered sugar when sifting. Unlike some other brands that talked about there being no contact with this screen, which could mean lumps left behind. For me, I believe that I made the right choice in purchasing this brand of sifters.

its get the job done. 4 rail agitator making solid contact with mesh(perhaps a juusstt a lil too solid). seems sturdy. the right size for most of my recipes. it kinda funnels the flour out the narrower bottom side. i suppose i gave it 4 stars cause of the agitator design. ive seen (though i havent used)OXO's sifter with its agitator built to take advantage of the side to side shake motion i use for 95% of the sifting process. the crank design doesnt seem very efficient. maybe OXO's doesnt work well, i dunno, but i wanna try it out.
