I never had the OEM version but this one seems perfectly good and worked as expected. A good OEM replacement for much cheaper. 2013 X3

This item fit my 2014 BMW X3 perfectly. Installation took less than 5 minutes once it was out of the box. Love the way it covers my cargo area. Great price for this item. I can only imagine the cost if I had gotten it directly from BMW.

When I bought my X3 a month ago, I was shocked to find out the cargo cover was an option. My previous F25 X3 came with a tan cover and I bought a black one in addition to it. When I sold the car a few years ago, I kept the black cover and finally sold it last year. I wish I still had it!I checked the usual places, CL, Marketplace, and the Bay. I could get a used BMW cover, but they were expensive and shipping was crazy! So I check my go to place, Amazon and there it was! I placed my order and eagerly awaited the cargo cover. It arrived and I was amazed at its lightness. The OEM cover was really heavy and cumbersome. This one was very light, and installed and extended the same as the OEM.Definitely a bargain when the cost shipped, was much less than the cost of a used one! A new factory one is probably 3 times the price of this! If you need a cargo cover for your F25 X3, some yourself some money and get this one!
