These black squirrel hair brushes are great. I was skeptical at first from what I was seeing in the other recent reviews but over all I was pleasantly surprised. Now if you are not used to very soft bristled paint brushes then these might not be the ones for you, but they hold a lot of water very well and I started that hydrangea painting with them. After wetting them for the first time it’s to be expected that some hairs would fall out but hardly any came out and the brushes retained their shape afterwards (Second photo after soaking). Most of the reviews that I saw that mentioned issues were for mostly the synthetic hair brushes so, as far as I can say, the natural squirrel hair brushes are great and perfect for travel. Easy to use, easy to store, easy to clean, and affordable.

I have another set of Fuumuui brushes, and loved them, so decided to get this set too. It’s just as good!Comes with a variety of sizes, are super portable, and great quality.The brushes screw together so they’re more sturdy, they’re very durable, and a good size and weight.I only wish they offered more small brushes. The numb between the round and detail is pretty big.Comes with a nice case, and the quill brush has a graphite end.

I’m honestly skeptical that these are real squirrel. They hold very little water & paint, far less than I expected or when compared to other brands of brushes I have in similar shapes and sizes. They are very pretty and seem well made though. They’re suitable for a travel sketch kit, but I wouldn’t call them professional grade. I don’t think I’d buy them again, but I’m fine with throwing them in a fast sketch kit.

Received these paintbrushes. They seem well made but one of the brushes arrived with what looks like mold or paint on the wooden handle. I requested a replacement from the seller but as of today, no response. Will probably return.
