The smart capabilities of the Varia UT800 allow you to pair it to compatible Edge computers with light sensors. Once paired, Varia UT800 automatically adjusts its beam intensity based on speed and ride profile so you get more light when you’re riding faster, while conserving battery power at slower speeds. It also automatically adjusts to ambient light conditions and battery capacity to extend your ride, and it only takes a simple touch of your Edge computer or a dedicated remote to turn your lights on or off, control brightness and more.
Versatile Visibility

Varia UT800 features 5 light modes, including high (800 lumens), medium (400 lumens), low (200 lumens), night flash (100 to 300 lumens) and day flash (more than 700 lumens). Per me è il top delle luci anteriori per bici, un pò alto il prezzo ma con tutte le funzioni incorporate li vale tutti i soldi spesi. Qualità dei materiali ottima completa di supporto angolato.

Excelente material y luminosidad, llegó con todos sus accesorios. Sin duda es la lámpara más resistente en materiales que he tenido.. pesa algunos gramos de más pero vale la pena.

La he probado una semana en plena noche y la he comparado con otra de 800 lumenes de la marca china Magicshine y definitivamente se nota que garmin tiene más iluminación por lejos de hecho la compararía con la 1200 lumenes de magicshine apenas, así que sus 800 de garmin serían los 1200 de la otra marca, su única contra es el tiempo de cargar puede tardar unas 3 horas en comparación otras similares, Garmin se puede montar debajo de la base del ciclo computador o arriba del casco como se muestra en la foto y controlar mediante elmismo computador mediante Bluetooth ya que es ant+, con prestaciones como la de iluminación automática, en fin aún seguimos probando el producto el cual a su máxima intensidad nos da 1.3-1.5 horas.

Tengo ya varios meses y rodadas con esta maravilla lámpara, lo que más me encanta es su adaptabilidad, en las mañana se habilita el modo estroboscopio el cual me hace visible a largas distancias y por la noche me ayuda perfecto a ver el camino, la dejo prendida todo el tiempo, cuando inicia mi actividad de inmediato se adapta a la hora y cantidad de luz percibida por el ciclo computador, que dicho sea de paso tengo el Edge 530 y van muy bien ambos, funcionan perfectamente, a todos aquellos que tienen miedo por temas de duración de la batería yo ruedo diario noche y día unas 2 horas y la batería me dura una semana aproximadamente, compré la versión para casco ya que es mucho más económica ya que el Edge 530 ya traía el soporte para manubrio entonces aproveché ambos aditamentos por separado, ah y con un adaptador puedo traer ambos sin ningún problema, lo recomiendo 100% para todos aquellos que rodamos tanto en ciudad como en campo, muy buena iluminación y adaptación. Luego subo imágenes con la luz encendida de noche.

Para las noches es muy buena Luz y con batería duradera, llevo luz extra para rodar hasta por 4 horas y no las he necesitado ya que con esta lámpara Garmin he tenido suficiente.

Strange light to be fair. Its great that can be controlled through the edge series of computers. So can have it turn on when you start, change how it operates whilst riding etc.It's battery life is a bit suspect and the high mode is more of a city light rather than a country lane beast. I have now moved it to my helmet as it is light enough not to be too noticeable.Where it has worked well is a daylight riding light, the ease of use, the flash etc are perfect for this, but not at the price its sold at. One or the models, urban or trail, comes with a helmet mount but you can find others on amazon as it works with go pro mounts.I got mine for £89 from a seller on amazon US. I think this price is the top end for it. If it pops up black friday/prime days etc for a prices lower than that then i think for most people looking for an all rounder day/city light then this should be seriously looked at.

El producto llegó muy rápido a mi domicilio, sin embargo no traía su caja original y tampoco el adaptador para la bicicleta (trae uno genérico).La lámpara si estaba nueva pero con con algunos rasguños (que casi no se distinguen), y su funcionamiento al 100% sin ningún inconveniente.Por el precio me pareció muy buen producto.

First off the universal mount is fantastic because my bike came with it hence it doesn't clutter my handlebar. It's a little weighty but doesn't bother me. In any case it just gives me confidence in this product, for being well built and looks like it can withstand drops/shock. The battery life is good but I've only used the low light mode at 200 lumens, sometimes 400 but rarely needed in Singapore roads where I reside. On top of that it can sync with my bike computer to display battery life and enable some smart lighting features.
