Where do i start? I own some other Govee products, including some VERY expensive premium products of theirs like the TV DreamView immersive backlighting for my 75" TV, and 4 sets of the outside, permanently installed RGBIC lights for the house (talk about a lot of money). My backyard kitchen has Govee LED's and many other products in my home is thiers as well.Well govee - perhaps you should leave car EXTERIOR lighting to the professionals who specialize on car products. The inside fiber optic ligting that I have from you is decent, but not the best either.Anyway - back to this product - the adhesive stickers are a joke. common sense would tell anyone, if you want a permanent fixture - use the hard-wired installed mounting holders. Now talk about a joke! These things wouldnt hold a pencil under your car never mind these lights under a car that could be going 120+MPH Only on my AMG for 3 weeks now and the front lights have some burnt out led's that will only glow green. I am in a large car club, that tours, and my lights arent have as bright as others I see out there. So I am going to have to replace these. Probably with another brand, unless Govee steps up, given my past loyalty to them and does something about these cheap wannabe underglow lights.UPDATE: One of the reasons I have been local to Cover, they care about their customers satisfaction, and after reading my review, they took care of the issue. I wanted to add under glow to my car and looked at several ones on Amazon. Govee has a solid setup. It comes packaged nicely with the four light strips, zip ties, mounting brackets, screws, and a small remote to control the lights. The LED strips have 3M double sided tape attached to the back. I used the remote and it works well. the magic is in the ability to use the app. It brings so much more flexibility and use. Govee also has other products that are controlled by the same app. The app controls colors, brightness, LED strip segments, and pre-selected color patterns, listen to music, and more.It's best to lay the LED strips flat on a floor or surface and place something with weight on them. this will help keep them flat and makes it far easier when installing them. Lay out the strips in place to see how best the wiring will run. Make sure there is plenty of wiring that can reach the battery or tap in power source. I did some homework on the wiring paths of my car before running the wiring through.Once the LED strips are run through and power connected. I found inset channels on the sides of my car which were perfect to hide the strips. I didn't want to use the screws or place holes in the metal. I ran high strength silicone along the back of each LED strip. I didn't use the double sided tape, I kept the cover on the tape when I mounted the strips. Once in place, I ran additional silicone along the sides to seal them in place. After 1 month of driving, no issues yet. You can use zip ties to place it in place when needed.There this falls short is there is no built in fuse on the positive wire. It's always best to have a fuse in place. There is nothing in the manual stating what size fuse to use either. So it's difficult to know the fuse size so it doesn't blow under normal operation. Buying a inline fuse is easy and it installs without issue but knowing how many amps would be helpful.Overall it's a fun thing to have added to any vehicle. I'll give updates over the course of the next few months.
