I bought two different books like these for my grandchildren for Christmas. The instructions are clear and they were easy to record. Now when I’m not there, they can listen to me reading them a story.

Bought this book for my sons great grandma could record her voice reading to him. She recorded it, which was easy. However, once I brought it to my son, the recording very works. I had my grandmother re-record it and it still does not work. I even changed the batteries out. This was absolutely a waste of money and of my grandmothers time….if you are looking for a book for someone to record for you child, get a different one and a different brand. I can’t even exchange it or return it because it’s out of the time frame unfortunately.

I bought this when my mother diagnosed with cancer. That way my kids could listen to her read to them after she passed. It was easy to record and it’s a wonderful short book.

This book plays well and is sturdy. The book itself is large and easy to handle. The only thing I regret is the story is very short. It will be perfect for my 2-year old's attention span, but I will need something a bit longer for my 4-year-old grandson.
