As long as you read the manual, installation should be relatively easy, unless you have some funky wiring.The brightness and colour is really nice, plus they blend in well with most drop-ceilings.Just be careful when installing of course.

These are fantastic lighting options for your entire house. My electrician put them up easily and quickly. Our long enclosed walkway has now been given a new purpose, from a wide hallway to a quiet little room with lights for the plants, reading and relaxing. with only one light in the room it was often dreary and uninviting. We hurried through it from garage to the house. These lights have helped create another inviting room for us to use. The entire room is well lit. We have moved on of the bookcases into it and have a quiet corner for reading, coffee and tea drinking and enjoy the ambiance of given the entire room with the choice of the light placements and the ability to dim the lights or turn them up to highlight the different areas of the room. The kids and dogs enjoy spending time there. With the addition of the lights, This space has turned fro an enclosed walkway between buildings into a warm quiet retreat for our family.

The lights are super easy to install. I skipped the included wire nuts and used Wago connectors (also super helpful in the pancake junction boxes that I had; would have been a tight fit with the included wire nuts) and each light was up in minutes. I did appreciate that the install pack came with different sized screws in case they were needed. I had a couple junction boxes that were installed a bit deep, so the extra screw lengths were great. And a pro tip- the parts for install look like moisture absorbent packs, so don't throw anything out till you're sure! These lights are listed as 900 lumen, and they definitely seem brighter then a similarly rated LED bulb. The lights seem maybe a tad whiter than 3000k as well.

I have so far replaced the lights in my laundry room. They look like recessed can lights. Color is great, a bit whiter than an old 60 watt incandescent. Brightness is well, depends on the web site "converter" you visit but for the watts (13) used and the lumen output (940) and my eyes, they look like 75 watt incandescent GE floods on full power. Lots of light for the amount of electricity used. No heat, either.Nice smooth light spread. Great color. Instant on. Easy to install. I think the price is great.Go ahead and buy this. Swap out ceiling lights in the hallway and bathrooms and forget about buying light bulbs and the kids or grandma leaving the lights on.

These lights are great for closets, hallways, and other areas where the surface mount style that protrudes from the ceiling is acceptable. These don't look quite as good as the normal can less wafer lights in my opinion, but the value is great and they are easy to install. As with any other Halo light, they are bright, the color is vivid, and they are durable. Efficient, too! Overall, I don't really have any complaints about this set of lights, and I would definitely recommend them.
