Replaced a pin on my log splitter valve handle that I wore out. Fits perfectly

Based on all the other clevis pin measurements I see on Amazon, they show that the "length" of the pin is the "grip" length, distance from cap to pin hole. Instead, these are 1" TOTAL length, so too short for the job. Not worth sending back, but why can't sellers give accurate length information ?????
