Okay, immediate disclaimer... I don't bake or cook. I bought these to hold small things on my desk -- paper clips, binder clips, etc. I was looking for something strong, attractive and easy to clean and these ramekins are perfect. An added bonus is that they are square and take up as much space as round ones. Second added bonus is that they stack easily so I can put them all together on the side when I need a clear desktop to work on something.

I was looking for a small cup to serve specialty desserts and these work well. Most of my guests appreciate a smaller portion for richer tasting desserts due to health reasons or personal preference. These fit the bill nicely. Vendor was prompt in delivering product and they were nicely packed. Happy here!

People!! Bad Reviewers......Are you nuts?? Get out the tape measure to understand the size and shape if you need to before purchasing - your size mistake is totally your problem. First - these are Ramekin's used in Mise en Place for cooking. Chefs would love and use them. Think Herbs and Spices for your Mise on Place in these little babies. Second - cute little buggers that can hold little small accompaniments to a meal...what's not to love?

I ordered two sets of these dishes and expected to receive a total of 12 dishes. Instead they sent two dishes saying the description was in error and the price was for each dish not a set of six. I feel they should have either honored the description or contacted me before sending only two. The dishes are actually quite nice and appear to be good quality. That was two weeks ago and it appears the description of quantify has not been changed.Update 11/19/10. Comments above dealt with dishes offered by Ace Hardware Outlet through Amazon. The description has changed and now Amazon is offering the product in a set of six. So ignore the above comments unless you're considering buying from Ace Hardware Outlet. The dishes really are quite nice.
