A riqueza dos detalhes, a forma que ele foi desenvolvido ajuda muito na hora de montar, dar manutenção e desmontar o motor. Item indispensável pra quem tem Fusca ou qualquer outro aircooled.

Excelente libro para reconstruir el motor del Volkswagen Sedan, tiene buena impresión y muchos detalles. OJO: Se enfoca solamente al motor.

Excellent information on stripping and rebuilding a VW engine. Goes in depth on finding wear and how to repair on all engine parts.

Le livre que tout bon amateur de flat 4 se doit d'avoir dans sa bibliothèque. Guide pas à pas pour démonter/remonter et remettre en état son moteur. Ne traite que la partie bloc moteur et culasses. Ne traite pas des carbus ou de l'allumage.Bien illustré, mais en noir et blanc contrairement à ce que pourrait laisser penser la couverture. En anglais.

I have owned and maintained both a Bus and a Beetle for several years using the Haynes manuals. I consider myself to be pretty knowledgeable however whilst using the "Look inside" feature I was tempted to buy it.What a joy... It is packed with valuable and useful information that is absolutely essential prior to starting a strip-down and rebuild. I've actually extracted each of the inspection and assessment routines and created an easy to use check off list for use on the job. It is a book that you will happily keep on dipping into to further enhance your engine knowledge and hone your confidence and skills. Although it has an American "tilt" the engines are universal. I love it...I would definitely recommend a protective cover when reading on the job; just to prolong its legibility, my Haynes's have taken a right battering!
